MapleSEA Private Event SG

Hello everybody!

I am sorry I am so inactive (>.<"). I was busy preparing for EOY and the Asiasoft Event a few weeks back. My Orchid staff was in a bad condition and I had trouble fixing it.

There was a Maple Event in Singapore, at E2max, December 14. I was invited there as a Cosplayer.
It was a private event. However, I was told that anyone was welcomed but only the invited people can enter the private screening room.

The event wasn't that great because...there were only a few Maplers who turned up. After the Q&A, there was a photo-taking session with Cosplayers. I can say that... everyone is pretty shy, so I did not took much pictures with anyone.

 I did not get any codes as I arrived late. I was given this for coming down to the event. (OAO)

Have not started making them yet... Shall keep them and make them with my maple friends someday.

All of them are so busy with life and studies, I guess I will be busy soon too, due to national exams.

First of all... I have to thank Asiasoft for organising this event and inviting me over.
In my personal opinion, this event was a pretty rushed one, so think...everyone should stop being upset about this event. I know many of the players were unhappy about the event. I, myself too, were disappointed. But... let's just forget it okay! :3 They will do a better job next time yo!

Despite everything, I had fun, I met new friends and gain more self-confidence.
The photographer and the staff were friendly, and I am really thankful for that.

If I ever have a chance again, I will put up a notice in advance to help spread about the event and do a better job in Cosplaying any Maple Characters I will Cosplay in the future.

[MapleSEA] Hayato

Hello everyone! It's been quite awhile since Hayato was out, I'm sorry I updated this really late.
I started playing Hayato on the day of it's release, and I have to say... the storyline is pretty amazing.

Here are some screenshots I have took:

That's all the screenshot I have. Overall, Hayato storyline is pretty fun and I really enjoyed playing it.

I have to admit it is pretty hard for me to catch up with the storyline because all the characters have very long name(though I do study Japanese)! Guess I have to be hardworking and read up more on Japan history and try out some manga related to Japanese warriors.

I will update more on Hayato and my Monster Farm soon. Till then, see you!

Anime Festival Asia 2013

Hello everybody! It's been awhile since I've updated and I must really apologise for that.
I had been preparing for my Orca Cosplay, and I would like to share with you my final works!
These photos were shot at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) 2013. A friend of mine, Hisui, is cosplaying as Lotus, the brother of Orca.

If you have played through Xenon or some of the heroes' storyline, you would definitely know that Orca love bunnies. If not... you have learnt something about an NPC today. (*w*)

It has been more than 5 years since I started playing MapleStory. I met many friends and had lots of fun. Without this game, I wouldn't have met so many cool people. I would definitely like to share more about how much I love this game, but let's not spoil the happy mood of this post with a long story of mine! :)

This is my very first MapleStory cosplay and I am really glad people did recognise that I am cosplaying Orca from MapleStory! I have also met other cosplayers who did cosplays of Cygnus and Phantom.

Some other time, I will share how I met so many amazing friends from different walks of life by just playing this game...

I will definitely bring in more MapleStory cosplay if I can in the future!

 And lastly...
FOR THOSE WHO SAID: "IT IS ORCHIDDDD AND NOT ORCA"
Orca is more well known as Orchid, however, I am following the Japanese version which her name was spelt "オルカ ". Yes, if your brother is named after a flower, you will most likely be one too. Any is fine, but I just like Orca more. Let's all not argue about the name anymore. :)

[MapleSEA] Random Beauty Coupon

Hello everyone! Today I'll be sharing about ... Random Beauty Coupon!
Yes, I've waited for this event to come since... the last random beauty coupon event ended. Haha.
This time, random beauty coupon event starts from 18 of September, until 13 of November 2013.
Upon clicking the Random Beauty Coupon(RBC), 5 features of your character will be changed. The following 5 features are: Hair, Hair Colour, Face, Eye Colour and Skin. Beware, they might change your looks for the better, or worst!

Long story aside, let me share with you some of the hairstyles I got for my Evan and Phantom!
These screenshots are just a few looks I got. I am sorry I could not screenshot all.

Here's a tip for all of you! (thanks to IxKataraxI again)
If you want to hunt beauty coupons fast, you can visit Kerning Square. If I am not wrong, it is the 3rd/4th floor, where you hunt a yeti/pepe toy catcher. The more the monsters... the higher the chance you can get a coupon! However, if you want to level fast, you can still hunt coupons from higher level monsters.

Now, let's see what kind of looks my Phantom got!
To begin with... I NEVER wanted to change my Phantom's look (he's perfect, sexy, blonde and have charming purple eyes).

What happened that causes me to try RBC on my Phantom:
While I was a hunting a monster, I realised I ran out of potions and I opened my inventory to click on my other potions. Unfortunately, my hand slipped and I clicked on the random beauty coupon I just picked. Ughh... Unlucky me, right? Well at least there's some drama in my life. :)

I had spent weeks and days hunting coupons for my Phantom. I just can't get perfect look for my Phantom. I guess, this is what I get for being blur and careless... ah forget it. :(

And finally... I got a decent look for my Phantom. He's back to blonde again!

He does not have his purple charming eyes though :(

Nevertheless, I am happy with the results!

[Monster Farm] More and more slimes

Hello Everyone! It's been quite awhile since I have updated this blog, and I must apologise. I am currently preparing for my Orca Cosplay and I can't wait to share with all of you.
Meanwhile, let me update you with my new family members in my monster farm.

 Few days back, I got another slime monster. I named it EbiEbiEbi, since the first was named Ebi, then came second one, EbiEbi.

  Goodbye MochiMochi, I will miss you.  Why did it lie to Demon Slayer anyway. Haha.

 They're lining up like models. Ebi Tempura, anyone? Or do you prefer Ebi fry? -grins-

Got a cat! Yes! It is so cute. I am sorry that I have two non-slime&snail category monsters in my farm(they're so cute I just can't ignore them), but I will discharge them soon to recruit more slime&snail members!

[Monster Farm] More slimes!

Hello everybody! It's been quite awhile since I've updated. Recently, I have a few monsters added to my Monster Life family.

A new cute slime joined the family! I named it Red Mochi \(^v^)/

And a giant snail joined the family! It's hugeeee!

Again, for those who want to visit my farm, you can visit by adding me on your buddy list in Monster Life. My farm name is GreenTeaCake.

I never expect anyone to enjoy visiting my farm as my monsters are not of high grades(the highest grade is A+ I guess). However, a player told me my farm is famous for having many slimes and said that I should continue having them in my farm. So...Thank you everyone for your support! -blushes-

[MapleSEA] Gold Box, Hero's Key and Murr Murr's pocket

Hello everyone! This blogpost will be split into three sections: Gold Box, Hero's Key and Murr Murr's pocket.

Gold Box
Recently, Gold Box is back in MapleSEA. The event is titled: "Gold Box rewards just got better", where you will have a chance to obtain Cygnus Equipments, Tylent Equipments, Darkness Equipment and Miracle scrolls. I am quite curious about the rewards so I got a friend to try it out for me.

As I don't have gold box, I got a friend to update me about the rewards he got from the gold box.

This is the first image he sent me. Are you ready?

 Sadly, he has a sense of humor too. An opened box.

He got Abyss Black Beauty.

It's quite upsetting that he didn't get any Cygnus equipments or anything that is considered "worth", but at least... he got something! I hope this does not discourage anyone to try out the gold box. If possible, we will further update you with the rewards we get.

Hero's Key
Have you guys hunted etc like the Hero's Key? For those who have not tried opening the Magic Music Box, are you curious about the rewards you will get?
Unfortunately, I only got 10k cash today to try out the Hero's Key. I had three tries, and some of the screenshots are below:

Poof! I was quite shock because I was expecting an equipment. Nevertheless, I am happy.

 On my second try, I got a 6 Chair Slot Bag. Is it me, or is the item getting worse? Haha.

Murr Murr's Pocket
If you see a monster that looks like Ergoth somewhere in your hunting map, don't be afraid of hunting it! It drop a use item called Murr Murr's Pocket. Sadly, I managed to hunt one today only.

Yea....right...anyway it's free...I am quite disappointed though.

But of course, I think there might be better items when I have further tries. Till then, let's not claim that this Murr Murr's pocket is useless. But still... isn't the name "Murr Murr" cute?

[MapleSEA] Monster Farm

Hi guys!

This will be the first post of my blog, the Green Tea Mapler. I have always wanted to start a gaming blog for MapleStory. However, busy school life had caused me to delay this idea of blogging.
There are lots of changes in my life, and I told myself, "This time, I will definitely start my blog.".

It's been quite awhile since Monster Farm was out in MapleSEA. It started around July, where everyone can have live in a beautiful magical place, Monster Farm! It is also called Monster Life. Monster Life is a place where you can keep cute monsters (maybe not all), build buildings and gain potential from the monsters you have!

You can begin by clicking the "go to farm" button near the menu button at the bottom right of your screen.

When you start, you are required to name your farm. For my case, I have no idea what to name my farm and I decided to call it GreenTeaCake. Yes... it's embarassing but I have no better name for my farm in my mind that time.

Anyway, things aside,
don't you feel tired from having a long chain of party quests or hours of training?

Monster Life is a place where you can sit back, relax and feel the beauty of MapleStory!
Sorry for being so... comical but I really feel happy when I visit my own farm.
Won't you go "awwwww, so cute!" when you see a bunch of colourful slimes jumping around on your screen? I do.


Here's my adventure in Monster Farm for the past few months:

 I started out having two slimes.

 And then it became three.

 And... four!

Five... 

and I have no idea why I keep getting slime category monsters from merging monsters with other farms.

And a month or so later, a new friend came again. SIX!

Finally, snails.

 And then, more snails.

More slimes join the family again. -self slaps-

But... KAWAII!

And... MORE SLIMES.
